Information used by the game

NUNET uses Google Play Games Services for sign-in, leaderboards and achievements. When you connect an existing Google account and Play Games profile, Google may process your player name or nickname, player ID, gameplay scores, achievements and related game activity. These details let the game identify your Play Games profile and display or submit your progress. NUNET does not create a separate game account.

Gameplay settings and progress may also be stored on your device. The game can be played without a separate NUNET account; Play Games features require a Google Play Games connection.

Advertising and related data

NUNET uses Google AdMob to show banner, interstitial and rewarded ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share your IP address (which can indicate approximate location), app interactions such as launches, taps and ad views, diagnostic and performance information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID or app set ID. Depending on the SDKs and device configuration, information about installed apps may also be processed. These data support advertising, measurement and analytics, and fraud prevention, security and compliance.

The game uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage advertising consent where required. You can revisit available advertising privacy choices from the game's Settings screen. Android also provides controls to reset or delete your advertising ID. The ads you see and the data processed can depend on your choices, location and device settings.

Who receives data

Google receives data through AdMob and Google Play Games Services to provide the services described above. We do not sell player data. Google's processing is described in its Privacy Policy, Mobile Ads data disclosure and Play Games data disclosure.

Security and retention

Google states that the data its Mobile Ads and Play Games services transmit is encrypted in transit. Data stored locally on your device remains there until it is removed through the game or device, or until the game is uninstalled. Google controls retention of data held in its advertising and Play Games services under its own policies.

Delete your NUNET Play Games data

NUNET does not create a separate app account. Your sign-in uses a Google account and Play Games profile that you manage with Google. To delete the Play Games scores, achievements and other Play Games data for NUNET, open your Play Games profile, choose Your Data, then Delete Play Games Account & Data. Under Delete individual game data, find NUNET and choose Delete. This deletes the selected game data held by Google; it does not delete your entire Google account. You can also use the Play Store app: Settings → General → Play Games Profile → Privacy & Settings → Your Data → Delete profile & game data.

For a request concerning data controlled by Indie Walkabout, email indie.walkabout.1971@gmail.com with the subject “NUNET data deletion request.” Describe the data you want deleted. Do not send your Google password. We will identify any data we control and explain the deletion steps. Locally stored game settings and progress can be removed by clearing NUNET's app data or uninstalling the game. Google explains the separate controls in its Play Games deletion guide.

Children and changes to this policy

NUNET is currently listed on Google Play as intended for adults aged 18 and over. If this policy or the game's data practices change, we will update this page and its date.
