Game progress and Play Games
PetsNet stores game settings, scores and progress on your device. It does not create a separate PetsNet account. If you connect to Google Play Games Services, Google may process your Play Games player name or nickname, player ID, scores, achievements and related game activity to provide leaderboards and achievements. You can play without using Play Games features.
Advertising and consent
PetsNet uses Google AdMob for banner, interstitial and optional rewarded ads. Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share your IP address, which can indicate approximate location; app and ad interactions; diagnostic and performance information; and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID or app set ID. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement, security and fraud prevention.
Google's User Messaging Platform checks whether an advertising consent message is required, including in regions covered by European consent requirements. Where required, you can make choices in that message. You can revisit available choices from Settings → Privacy options. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all ads or all data processing. Android settings also let you reset or delete your advertising ID.
Google describes its processing in its Privacy Policy and Mobile Ads data disclosure.
Optional sharing and external links
If you choose to share a game message or score, Android opens its system share sheet. The app you select, such as email or messaging, processes the content you choose to send under its own privacy policy. PetsNet does not require a Facebook account or use a Facebook SDK for sharing.
Opening a website or store link connects you to that external service, which may receive your IP address and browser or device information. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you include so we can respond. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
Purposes, legal bases and recipients
Local game data is used to provide the game. We handle support correspondence for our legitimate interest in responding to users and maintaining the app, and to meet legal obligations where applicable. Where consent is required for advertising-related processing, Google's consent message explains the purposes and choices. You can change available choices in Settings without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Recipients may include Google for AdMob and Play Games, an app you choose for sharing, and email providers used for support. Their processing may take place outside the European Economic Area; their privacy policies explain their applicable safeguards. We do not sell player data. See Google's Play Games data disclosure.
Retention and deletion
You can remove locally stored settings, scores and progress by clearing PetsNet's app storage in Android settings or uninstalling the game. Google controls retention of information held through AdMob and Play Games under its own policies. To delete PetsNet's Play Games data, use your Play Games profile and select the option to delete individual game data. Google provides a deletion guide. Uninstalling PetsNet does not delete information already held by Google or a sharing service.
Support messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and related legal obligations. To request access, correction or deletion of information controlled by Indie Walkabout, email indie.walkabout.1971@gmail.com with the subject “PetsNet privacy request.” Explain your request so we can identify the relevant information. Google states that Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent. Some rights depend on the purpose and legal basis of processing. You may complain to your local data protection authority, including Italy's Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Children and policy updates
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate. We will update this page and its date when the game's data practices or this policy change.
