Game progress and photos
Skid15 does not require a separate game account. Game settings, scores and progress are stored locally on your device. If you choose a photo to create a puzzle, the game uses that image on your device and may save a local copy. The photo-puzzle feature does not upload your selected photos to Indie Walkabout. Access to photos or camera features depends on the feature you choose and your device permissions. You can manage permissions in Android settings.
Advertising and consent
Skid15 uses Google AdMob for banner and interstitial ads. Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share your IP address, which can indicate approximate location, app and ad interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. Google uses these data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention.
Google's User Messaging Platform checks whether a consent message is required, including in regions covered by European advertising consent requirements. Where required, you can make choices in that message. You can revisit available choices from Credits → Ad privacy choices. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all ads or all data processing. Android settings also let you reset or delete your advertising ID.
Google describes its processing in its Privacy Policy and Mobile Ads data disclosure.
Optional sharing and external services
If you choose to share a score or message through Facebook, another social app, email or SMS, the service you select processes the content you send and any account information needed for sharing. Facebook sharing may request access to profile-related information, email or friends information, depending on the sign-in flow and permissions you approve. You can decline sharing and continue playing. See Meta's Privacy Policy for Facebook processing.
Opening a website or store link connects you to that external service, which may receive information such as your IP address and browser or device details. Its own privacy policy applies. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you include to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
Purposes, legal bases and recipients
Local game data and selected photos are used to provide the features you request. We handle support correspondence for our legitimate interest in responding to users and maintaining the game, and to meet legal obligations where applicable. Where consent is required for advertising-related processing, the consent message explains the available purposes and choices. You can withdraw consent through the available privacy controls without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Recipients may include Google for advertising, a sharing service you choose, and email providers used to handle support requests. Their processing may take place outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area; their privacy policies explain applicable transfer safeguards.
Retention and deletion
You can remove locally stored game data by clearing Skid15's app storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app. Photos saved separately in your photo library and device backups must be managed separately. Uninstalling the game does not delete information already held by advertising or sharing services; use those providers' privacy controls for that information.
Support messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any related legal obligations. Google and other providers determine retention for data they control under their policies. Google states that Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.
To request access, correction or deletion of information controlled by Indie Walkabout, contact indie.walkabout.1971@gmail.com with the subject “Skid15 privacy request.” Explain your request so we can identify the relevant data.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent. Some rights depend on the purpose and legal basis of processing. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, including Italy's Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Children and policy updates
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and address the request. We will update this page and its date when the game's data practices or this policy change.
